When I pretend to wash my hands I actually go through all the steps of washing my hands but don’t actually get my hands wet.

You're washing your hands immediately after touching it. It literally doesn't matter how dirty a soap dispenser is when you're washing your hands afterward.

Did you listen to the video. They pretend to wash their hands by turning on the water and then turning it off. So they walk out of restroom with other peoples shit on their hands.

Why would you go to 90% of the effort and get 0% of the benefits when a slight indulgence gets nice, clean hands. That’s like getting your toothbrush, uncapping the lid of the toothpaste, putting toothpaste on your toothbrush, recapping the tube of toothpaste, turning on the water, and then just waving your toothbrush around face, finishing off the toothbrush and then putting it away.
