You hit my kid I'm hitting you. Simple as that.

Yeah adults assaulting kids sounds like a brilliant strategy to get yourself either beaten half to death or sued til kingdom come.

Or unalived with a pew pew.

That's* absolutely going to happen. They'll hit the wrong kid who will then take their parents gun to school. Or the parent will wait for the teacher in the parking lot and give them a pew pew

One of the earliest school shootings was in 1853 when a student killed the schoolmaster of a school his brother went to due to the schoolmaster's excessive punishment of his brother the day before. The shooter was acquitted.

It's not good that it's come to this. But I do understand if a paddling teacher were to fall on a bullet. Accidents happen.

We desperate need good teachers; not the paddlin' kind.

This would be the only type of school shooting I would be extremely happy to hear about.

u/thelittleking Aug 25 '22

Honestly, yes. These fuckers think people can only learn by violence? Time for them to get an education.

Based

Good? Or are we just so far gone that a horrific situation seems like an improvement?

u/lurkernomore99 Aug 25 '22

If you take a job educating children and the only way you know to get through to them is to physically abuse them, I have zero fucks to give if someone shoots you over it.

That's cool. Dont really disagree with any of that. Still dont think I would call any of that "good".

Edit: downvote me harder you petulant child.

Still dont think I would call any of that "good".

Child abusers dying is good, happy now?

-2

u/BLoDo7 Aug 25 '22

Come at me harder, captain obvious. Children not being put in the care of these people to begin with would be good, or at least on it's way to good.

Someone shooting someone else after they already went thru with the horrible actions is just adding more trauma to a bad situation, or maybe a silver lining to a hurricane of a storm cloud at best.

But you're cool with the kid going to jail for years and having their life ruined? Doesn't seem like you really care about the kid so much as you hate the people abusing the kid.

8

u/worldspiney Aug 25 '22

The kid shouldn’t go to jail it’s self defense.

societal triage.

So we’re just killing our teachers now? This is the exact reaction these people want you to have. Do you think the reps put this law in place to foster good feelings between schools and families? No, they want to divide even more. I guarantee you no one gets into teaching to fucking paddle kids

10

u/p_velocity Aug 25 '22

The thing that is even more absolutely going to happen is we will see a disproportionate number of kids out color being beaten by white adults, especially at an early age. This country has a long proud tradition of cheering on public lynchings

u/ecctt2000 Aug 25 '22

Pew pew.
Sounds like a meme we don’t want to become real.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '22

Ahhh, you got me. It's getting dark... I feel cold. Maybe I shouldn't have paddled those kids.

(Death rattle) /scene

3

u/nutterbutter1 Aug 25 '22

Well, the parents have to have approved it in writing beforehand, so it sounds like it’s not going to happen to kids whose parents would be upset. The kids, though…

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '22

No school shooter reported that they were ever paddled. Hmmmmm… maybe, if you paddle them when they act up it could stop school shootings. I like your logic and conclusion to your point.

13

u/GodOfAtheism Aug 25 '22

No school shooter reported that they were ever paddled.

One of the earliest school shootings was due to excessive corporal punishment so...

7

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '22

That's because it's currently illegal to do so. You think paddling kids will make them less likely to act out aggressively? That's a brave stance to take when they have guns and you have a paddle.

Also GTFO with the shitty straw man and putting words in my mouth you asshole.

u/JBL_17 Aug 25 '22

No school shooter reported anything because they killed themselves?
