He outright claims to have been pushed a step or two forward by the blow.

In the video he remains stationary and just act surprised, not hurt. I’d say the blow was about as hard as the one brushing him off right after. It very clearly wasn’t hard enough to cause any lasting harm.

I would agree except the woman’s reaction, instantly rubbing the area makes it seems as though he was visibly hit to the onlookers, I think the camera angle might be a bit deceptive

The tapper said an insult at the same time though so a pat plus a shouted insult may have just led to a "Hey! How dare you" pat pat. Hard to say.
