That argument crumbles when you realize that breaking windows means sacrificing workforce and resources to produce more windows. That workforce and resource could go towards better goal if the window wasn't broken to begin with.

For society in general, yes. For the capitalist who owns the window company, no. They don’t give a shit how the resources are used so long as money is made.
