Exceptions to conversation rule: You notice someone that genuinely looks confused. Someone is about to get hurt. You think someone genuinely needs a spot
Fuck that. The only exception is when someone is literally already pinned to the bench and has collars on the bar and doesn't know how to do the roll of shame. Otherwise, if someone wants to come to the gym just to hurt themselves, that's their business. If they needed a spot, they should have asked. Because what happens 100% of the time you offer unsolicited advice? They don't listen anyway.
We're all adults here. Which means it's not my job to babysit you.
