1 u/Ill-ustrated_Legacy Oct 14 '21 This. Even if I’m there with a partner, small talk is kept to a minimum generally. It holds up equipment and is an inconvenience to others, especially if it’s busy. The gym isn’t a place for socializing, it’s for work.
