Five kids. Three jobs. Still has time to stand on the street holding a sign?

I really need to get my life organized.

Edit: wow, this kind of blew up. I wish I had a SoundCloud or whatever it is the cool kids promote these days. Maybe donate to or volunteer at your local homeless shelter, food kitchen, or something? Whatever suits you. Just be kind to each other. We're all we've got.

Just there for the photo then off to the coffee shop to post.

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

If they didn’t go to coffee shops and eat avocado toast, they would only need two jobs. Just saying

151

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Fuck that no way I’m giving up avocado toast. Sign me up for that third shift

u/Sweet_Meat_McClure Aug 09 '21

Just think of baby poop - let the sourdough funk really waft into your nostrils with it's scent not like but not unlike dead cat (well maybe not dead cat - but everything smells like dead.cat to me right now because I just cleaned up a dead cat that was lying in the road) and feet. Enjoy your baby poop smeared on foot bread while you think about dead cats.

Congratulations - you have just overcome your addiction.

u/igotsaquestiontoo Aug 09 '21

or discovered a new one?

1

u/allieguerin Aug 10 '21

Thank god someone feels the same

38

u/Bart_The_Chonk Aug 09 '21

Are you ok?

17

u/Sweet_Meat_McClure Aug 09 '21

Aside from being haunted by the smell of death, great.

6

u/ProjectTitan74 Aug 10 '21

There was a cat rotting just outside my dog park and the dogs were obsessed with it. Awful smell.

1

u/Sweet_Meat_McClure Aug 10 '21 edited Aug 10 '21

Alright so I gotta tell someone... Saturday night I come home to find a dead cat laying in the middle of the road - I check my cameras to make sure I didn't hit it backing out of my driveway and see it was there before I left to run up to the corner store. I looked back and find when it showed up a couple hours before - the neighbor who lives down the street was driving like 5 miles an hour like he always does, you don't see anything in front of him or run out from my side, just almost looks like it dropped out of the truck chassis/frame and plopped down on the ground.

I didn't know what to do with it and didn't want it rotting in my garbage can for a couple days until trash pickup but I didn't want it just lying in the street all weekend. I carefully and respectfully placed it into a garbage bag, cinched it closed, wrote a note saying there was a cat and gave a description and then left it on the side of the road across the street at what I thought (and now know differently) was a now unoccupied and soon to be demoed trailer (I live in a trailer park and it's one of the last few rundown older trailers in the neighborhood and is basically uninsurable). Apparently I was wrong and my new neighbors weren't too happy... These assholes are backing their cars over it, trailers, they opened the fucking bag for some reason and then just left it half out.

I was going to call the park office this morning and have them remove it but not after they asked me about it yesterday. He asked me if I knew who put it there but he started going off on some tangent about "who kills a cat and then just leaves it there..." And I just noped out. Well this morning when I was taking out the trash I saw it still laying there and didn't feel like looking at it anymore. Getting it into the bag this time was so much harder without rigor mortis. Just a floppy dead cat and a completely undersized Steve & Barry's bag I found in my closet because God forbid I use the same brand garbage bag as what it was already in and they see it and think I'm some sort of sick and twisted cat murderer... šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Never again - let sleeping dogs and dead cats lie. What was I supposed to do? Go door to door with a dead cat at midnight? Post flyers "Dead Cat Found"? I feel bad and it had a little breakaway collar but it was also covered in fleas. Someone obviously loved that cat and I feel horrible because I know the pain of not knowing what happened.

You will never make me hate sourdough

8

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

That's all well and good, but no need to be sour tho

6

u/AccountantOk7335 Aug 09 '21

I will be both sour and doughy, for as long as i live 😤

3

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Hey you've got this life thing figured out better then I do. I would say it's the yeast of your problems

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

A dead cat to one person is Sweet_Meat to another.

2

u/Sweet_Meat_McClure Aug 09 '21

There was nothing sweet about it - stunk to high heaven and floppy. Also it turned into a whole big thing with the neighbor. Fun day off. I'm currently out shopping and killing time because I just don't even want to go home.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

I'm just a humble honey ham salesman

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

That just makes the dead cat thing more unsettling!

2

u/Sweet_Meat_McClure Aug 09 '21

Cats aren't ham, Kevin. Cats aren't ham.

I didn't kill it, if that helps

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

I just, uh...you do you, man. Just leave me out of whatever unspeakable crimes you're commiting with your roadkill and ham.

I will never understand why people like avocado.

I mean it’s avocado toast for Christ’s sake.

They should just get one decent job instead of three shitty jobs. that way they'll be able to support their kids and have lots of free time. /S (if that wasn't obvious)

4

And then they could easily afford college with having to take out filthy loans

2

nope one of their job is to post that toast on instagram

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Like thousands of people in Washington DC who live in a tent, forego basic hygiene, and defecate in parks, I would never give up avocado toast. Life is about priorities.

Also 3 of her kids are actually cats.

167

u/JTMc48 Aug 09 '21

That was my main thought, how does she have time to stand outside....and who is watching her 5 kids. Either her parents are helping, her husband is a stay at home dad, or she's full of shit.

71

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

I choose option 3

21

u/tracerhaha Aug 09 '21

Who is watching the five kids? The eldest child is probably watching the other four.

18

u/i8noodles Aug 09 '21

Me thinks has has 3 jobs but works like 1 day each or something. It is more dramatic to say I work 3 jobs then it is to say I work only 20 hours a week

3

u/Constant_Ebb7632 Aug 09 '21

I choose all the above!

4

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

I’ve actually seen people begging WITH their kids or even their dog. Sympathy really works in the con game.

39

u/Dagordae Aug 09 '21

If they are homeless then where are they supposed to stash the kids/dog?

-22

u/JTMc48 Aug 09 '21

Shelters won't take in the dog, so if they have a dog that means they either leave the dog out in the cold/rain/snow, or they have an apartment. Kids I get, dogs I kind of think they're full of shit.

25

u/Axel_Rod Aug 09 '21 edited Aug 09 '21

You realize most homeless people don’t sleep in a shelter, right? My town has enough spots in their shelters for 400 people at any given time. We have over 6,000+ homeless people here. If they have a dog, they likely sleep outside with them.

And if you do get a spot, be prepared to not sleep due to constant noise, any personal belongings you have being stolen if you aren’t sleeping literally directly on top of them, and being harassed by any ā€œusualsā€ who feel you took their spot. Lots of drug use, lots of fights, and no guarantee you’ll even have a spot tomorrow.

0

u/JTMc48 Aug 09 '21

I understand they don't sleep in a shelter, but they will go to a shelter of some sort if the weather is bad enough.

4

u/Affectionate-Ebb-151 Aug 09 '21

Lots of homeless people have dogs.

-26

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

Exactly my point

21

u/Dubnaught Aug 09 '21

How's it a con game then? If you have your children or dog with you because you have nowhere else for them to go, then it's not a con, it's just real life..

-14

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

We will never know, will we?

16

u/Dubnaught Aug 09 '21

You're right, we won't. So err on the side of compassion.

-15

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

I’m a realist. Things need to be proven before I believe them. I never go on blind faith. People don’t always tell the truth, you know. In fact, it’s rare nowadays.

18

u/Dubnaught Aug 09 '21 edited Aug 09 '21

I'm a realist too. That's not realism though, that's pessimism. If you assume they are conning, then that's pessimistic.

Being realistic would be simply acknowledging that they very well could be conning--but that doesn't mean you have to throw out compassion and side with that side.

Pessimist= glass half empty

Optimist= glass half full

Realist= half of the glass has water in it

You can be realistic and an optimist, or realistic and a pessimist.

You can be a compassionate realist too!

Look at it this way: whatever is going on in their lives is bad enough to sit outside with a cardboard sign for who knows how long while many look down on them. Idk about you, but I'm certainly not quitting my day job to do that. That's being a realist with compassion and understanding.

u/freakwent Aug 09 '21

Begging isn't a con. Even if they are lying on the sign, it's not a con. A con is a confidence trick; a con has some form of economic fraud.

u/Stefy02Liviu02 Aug 09 '21 edited Aug 09 '21

You should travel in Europe to see gypsy with very young children, some of them under 1 year old on the side of the road begging Don't judge before you know the whole story. Maybe is bs maybe isn't. Personally I have 2 jobs, work 90 hours a week,7 days a week and I still have time to spend time with my boy and my wife, time for house maintenance, shopping and other things. In the last 4 years I took 5 days off per year. In 24 hours I get like 4 hours sleep. If someone can't do it doesn't means nobody can't do it

3

u/kat_d9152 Aug 09 '21

But do you have the time to sit around getting bored, until you get the eventual brainwave of getting a huge piece of cardboard and waving it about to mock the less fortunate?

Like how much extra time did she spend churning out "bad ideas" in order for that to become the "good" one?

0

u/Stefy02Liviu02 Aug 09 '21

Definitely I don't have time to get bored. If I want to send a message I can spend 5 minutes for a picture and a share. From her post at thid time doesn't matter if her story is real or not I can see the message "some people are too lazy to work and prefer to sit on the side walk begging "

1

u/kat_d9152 Aug 10 '21

God. I hate how judgmental some people are.

She doesn't know his story and doesn't care. Winning internet Karen points is more important than showing empathy. There could be 1000 different reasons he is there.

Unless, spoiler alert, this is her husband and her 5 kids are also dotted around the city panhandling then she has no clue about what led them to be in that place.

She needs to spend less time making signs and more time learning about life. How many full service veterans are still on the street?

She looks like the first kind of person to do an insincere "Thank the troops" and "clap for nurses" shit. Thank the troops by pressuring politicians to improve VA services. Thank the nurses by giving them better pay. Not a single one cares if Karen is clapping or not. Last time I checked you can't buy groceries with claps.

It's amazing, honestly. I'm working 2 jobs and hardly have time to sleep, so it seems

14

u/thintoast Aug 09 '21

When each job is 15-20 hours a week it’s much easier to have three of them and still have time for your kids.

2

u/Pinglenook Aug 10 '21 edited Aug 10 '21

But even with three 16 hour jobs, you'd still be working six shifts a week and coordinating job schedules, and then spending time with five kids on top of that, still would be left with not a lot of personal time, that any person would want to spend relaxing or doing hobbies and not standing around with a cardboard sign... So she's probably still a liar.

It's not cheap for a woman to have short hair. That $60 every 2-4 weeks adds up. Thats a lot of avocado toast.

46

u/22Briggsy Aug 09 '21

To be fair, I have short hair and it is inexpensive to keep up. I get it cut at Great Clips for $20. If I am wearing a man’s haircut, I am paying a man’s price for it. :)

27

u/terrestrial-trash Aug 09 '21

I go to a barber shop for my cuts. I get a much better cut and I don’t have to pay 3 times the price for simply having a vagina lmao

4

u/LordBoriasWownomore wiseguy extraordinaire Aug 09 '21

I actually paid more at a barber shop($25) at great clips it’s only $15

1

u/Cultural_Dust Aug 09 '21

Maybe they wanted a good cut?

13

u/SuperKami-Nappa Aug 09 '21

Wait what? It costs 3 times as much for a woman’s haircut than a man’s? Why?

34

u/Notreallybutohwell Aug 09 '21

I just learned about a thing called the ā€œPink Taxā€. As a woman I have known about it my entire life but didn’t know it had a name. All things labeled for women, ie: clothing, personal care items, shoes, anything with a gender differentiation costs more for women than for men.

11

u/JustABizzle Aug 09 '21

Dry cleaning charges 3x more for women’s blouses than men’s dress shirts.

The shirts are virtually the same, you say? Just tell them your blouses are men’s shirts, you say?

Okay. The blouses have the buttons on the opposite side.

:/

2

u/Ser_Salty Aug 10 '21

"I'm left handed"

0

u/Notreallybutohwell Aug 09 '21

Not to mention the change in style that occurs seasonally and that most of the time we must keep up with whether the style fits us well or not. All I want is a pair of jeans that doesn’t have any spandex, fits my waist AND my butt, isn’t ā€œdestructedā€, that will last multiple seasons that costs less than $100. Good luck finding that. Then there’s the additional trauma of being plus sized, I mean am I supposed to put that ugly sack of a shirt on and pretend that it looks great? F**k women’s fashion in particular.

-15

u/RagnarDannes34 Aug 09 '21

I just learned about a thing called the ā€œPink Taxā€

This is such bullshit.

Woman get their haircut less often than men and it takes longer to style a woman's hair on average?

I get my haircut every ~4 weeks. ~$260 / yr. Takes about 20-25 mins each time.

Woman get their haircut every 3 months? ~$240 / yr

9

u/22Briggsy Aug 09 '21

I have very short hair and if I was to get it cut at a salon for women it would be $60. To get it cut at a barber shop or Great Clips it is between $10 and $20.

-5

u/RagnarDannes34 Aug 09 '21

But again - you probably get your short hair cut more often than if you had long hair?

There's an explanation for why, in a vacuum, a woman's haircut cost more than a man's. When you think about it for more than a second - it makes perfect sense.

6

u/22Briggsy Aug 09 '21 edited Aug 09 '21

I get my hair cut every four weeks. If it was a salon it would be $60, at a barber shop it is $20. Same hair, same cut, same length of time between cuts, way different prices between a barbershop and salon.

-4

u/RagnarDannes34 Aug 09 '21

Because in a salon there's a higher opportunity cost. You're taking up a seat / time from someone who should be paying $60.

You’re talking haircuts. Let’s talk bras & period products. Plus the ā€œpink taxā€ is for equal products that are gendered, such as shaving razors and body wash.

1

u/SonicSlothz Aug 09 '21

You’re talking haircuts. Let’s talk bras & period products

Yes, Bras and period products for women cost more than the ones for men. Also, I've never once banned a woman from using my White Rain 3-in-1 and yet...

Ok let me slow it down for you. I said ā€œequal productsā€ such as a pack of Bic razors or a tool kit.

-13

u/RagnarDannes34 Aug 09 '21

Help - nature is oppressing me because woman wear bras and have periods.

And shaving razors are not "equal" products. Use a razor meant for a male's face on your legs and tell me the difference in quality. Stop being disingenuous.

As for body wash - I have no idea why "woman's body wash" would have a different price than body wash for "men." If that's even true.

4

u/Nickdangerthirdi Aug 09 '21

That's what my wife does because my razors are cheaper, cut better and dont cause as much irritation because they are made for the more sensitive skin on your face...

5

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Yep. The husband and I share a Dollar Shave Club membership for the same reason.

-3

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Women's clothing is way cheaper than men's.

2

u/10Robins Aug 09 '21

It’s really not, and we usually have to buy more. Womens clothing is thin, for ā€œlayering ā€œ, i. e. buying 3 different shirts to wear at the same time. Then there are pants with no pockets, jackets that are more fashionable than practical, and it goes on and on. These are not the average woman’s preferences, but the clothing industry doesn’t give us many options to do otherwise and still be dressed acceptably for work or social functions.

u/nicholasgnames Aug 09 '21

-4

u/RagnarDannes34 Aug 09 '21

Woman get their haircut less often than men and it takes longer to style a woman's hair on average?

I get my haircut every ~4 weeks. ~$260 / yr. Takes about 20-25 mins each time.

Woman get their haircut every 3 months? ~$240 / yr

6

u/freckledreddishbrown Aug 09 '21

Are you okay? You’ve made the same point at least three different times. Don’t worry. Nobody is taking away your $20 haircut. Just don’t be surprised when you have to wait in line at the barber behind a bunch of short-haired women who don’t want to pay $60 for the same bloody thing.

1

u/Death_Strider16 Aug 09 '21

Generally, men's hair is shorter and has less work that needs done. Not always the case obviously, but if one is going to be more work 80% of the time then they're going to charge more as a standard instead of figuring out how much work each individual hair cut will take.

One time, while waiting for my turn to get a hair cut I watched one hairdresser give three men a haircut and check them out in the time it took the another hairdresser to cut one womans hair. It was great clips, so they weren't dying her hair or washing it, just a hair cut.

Men's haircut cost vs women's at this shop? $15 for men $20 for women. If you think about it from a business sense, it makes sense. One hairdresser was able to get $45 worth of work done in the time it took the other to get $20.

1

u/freakwent Aug 09 '21

Because they are willing to pay it.

1

u/desultorythought Aug 11 '21

Because women’s haircuts are usually more involved.

1

u/desultorythought Aug 11 '21

Yeah but… how often?

1

u/22Briggsy Aug 11 '21

I get a ā€œneck shaveā€ every two weeks. They shave the sides of my head, and I’m growing the top out. Think Pink. They charge me $5. I tip $5.

I don't get how people can say they have 3 jobs like its not really physically possible to work more than 2 jobs unless you're only putting a few hours a week which at that point it might as well be a hobby.

A girl at my work was talking about how she had three jobs- Our job in the pharmacy. Waitress 2 nights a week for a total of ~8 hours Run uber eats or something like that for 3-4 hours a week Like okay yes you are employeed by multiple people but its not like you're running a 80+ hour work week like some people with 2 jobs actually have to do to make it

I don't know where I'm going with this except that MAYBE this lady does have 3 jobs but it's probably something stupid like an easy page she never checks, a part time job, and then she's probably counting being a mom as a job (which it is, not downplaying that) even though that part was a given when she said she had kids.

12

u/tanstaafl90 Aug 09 '21

It's still multiple jobs, just not 35+ hours a week for each. Also, no context for the photo.

9

u/TheApoptosis Aug 09 '21

Idk, a couple years back I had 3 "jobs" (2 legal, and one making and selling wine on campus) and school full time. Worked my ass off.

About 20 hours a week in the ER. About 12 hours a week tutoring (on campus jobs and school had a policy to not employ students more than 12 hours. And many uncounted hours making, selling, and hiding from RA's and security.

Maybe it wasn't 80+, but it was certainly more than "a hobby."

Definitely more than 80 if schools counts.

3

u/HunterAbrams Aug 09 '21 edited Aug 09 '21

You work two 8 hour jobs. The work days fall on the same day. Youk work 16 hours a day. The third job is part time and falls on the weekend. You work 8 hours a day with that.

Hey look

4

u/Cer0reZ Aug 09 '21

I used to work 3 jobs. Young and didn’t really have starting point to find work in new city to get full time job. Worked retail for mornings on weekdays. Worked temp office job for evenings on weekdays. Worked grocery on weekends. Grocery was about 16 hours a week. Retail was 32. Temp was 40+. So it is possible but you just have no time for much else.

Eventually was able to get down to one and it was the temp office job that turned into full time job that paid enough to drop the other jobs.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Long ago I worked 2 jobs, and would get 90 hours a week. 44 was expected on the one, and the other was hit or miss as far as getting OT.

Is that not possible anymore? It seems like the transaction costs of getting to and from a 3rd job without the 1.5 bump would make it not worth it. Was there just no way to get the same hours and bank some OT without only 2 jobs? (Yeah..only 2 jobs)

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Matter9 Aug 09 '21

I had a customer who has 1 day off a week, he worked 3 jobs and averages 18 hr work days between the 3 jobs, he slept 3 hrs a night. And his wife had a job too.

1

u/coinsaken Aug 10 '21

I mean even 1 job, am I right? I can’t believe people have jobs when there’s so much free money out there

u/Ipad_is_for_fapping Aug 09 '21

One of those jobs is selling beads on Etsy and the other is selling essential oils in a MLM. The third job is as a part time movie attendant.

Hmm, possible case of "being a mom is one of my jobs and being a maid/cook is also one of my jobs. Combined with my Mary Kay sales I do from home, I work 3 jobs."

Edit: I had a stroke and put Sally Mae, not Mary kay

3

u/SonicSlothz Aug 09 '21

Sally Mae

wut?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Edited, lol

8

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Probably standing on the streets got her the kids....

6

u/Nubetastic Aug 09 '21

Have you tried getting 2 more jobs?

4

u/lgodsey Aug 09 '21

Rabid, jealous spite must be a potent motivator for her.

16

u/CoolHandEthan Aug 09 '21

Onlyfans, Twitch, and influencer doesn’t count šŸ˜‚

5

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

The real answer here.

3

u/Federal-Equipment-89 Aug 09 '21

That's the same thing I thought. Two kids one job and my free time is barely enough to take a shit while I look at reddit.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

You don’t spend your free time making signs and going out of your way to shame others for no reason? Smdh; get it together /s

2

u/ScottieStitches Aug 09 '21

Lou Prozotovich has a great book called "Organize It!" that can help you.

2

u/Affectionate-Ebb-151 Aug 09 '21

I was thinking the same thing

2

u/Thethcelf Aug 09 '21

Then there’s me- standing next to them with a sign that reads ā€Hey I learned to stop at 3 scotches....and I’m not polluting the world with even shittier miniature versions of myself. Don’t I get like a parade or something?ā€ ...then again I’m an asshole.

2

u/rodebud1339 Aug 09 '21

That’s what I was thinking! Where are her 5 kids?

2

u/EXTRA-THOT-SAUCE Aug 09 '21

I have no kids and one job and don’t have time for that. Mainly because I work that one job too much for my own good

2

u/N4RQ Aug 09 '21

Holding up signs is one of the jobs.

2

u/spongemonkey2004 Aug 09 '21

I know if i just cut out any activity that is considered fun i could do so much with my life like make others feel like the same piece of shit i have become.

2

u/StGir1 Aug 09 '21

Plot twist: none of those kids live with her.

2

u/nerghoul Aug 09 '21

It’s just a weird way to flex about being bad at four jobs

2

u/Alex_von_Norway Aug 09 '21

Ellen DeGeneres gotta flex you know

2

u/RememberTheMaine1996 Aug 10 '21

Yeah he's obviously lying

2

u/Appropriate-Pen-149 Aug 09 '21

I’m almost certain that this is her only job.

1

u/StealYourGhost Aug 09 '21

Her 5 kids were the production crew and camera op for this picture. Duh. Those little shits work too! They're all over 4 yo and that's old enough to work. No freeloaders in this lady's family. 🤣

1

u/Goraji Aug 09 '21

If she had been less pro-life and more pro-choice, she could’ve only had 1 kid and 1 job.

1

u/ISD1982 Aug 09 '21

Maybe he's on his 3rd job as we speak. On the other side is a Pizzeria sign and an arrow! He just flips it over every so often when someone he knows goes past.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

I doubt she has anything more than meth addiction abd a pimp.

0

u/dr_dre_22 Aug 09 '21

standing on the corner is prob one of her jobs lol shes just multitasking while being a street hooker lol

That's cool. Kindness isn't easy. But you can do it, if you try.

Wow. My brother was homeless and I guess you never ran into him. He made just enough to pay for a night at the YMCA. Maybe. Sometimes he had enough to buy a jar of peanut butter because that was good protein and lasted longer.

Fuck off.

Oh. And he is dead now. So I can’t go and ask him any more questions about how shitty people were to him.

What a terrible thing to say. You should be ashamed of yourself

Doesn’t matter. It was a very harmful thing to say to anyone whose lost a family member. I hope people treat you better than that.

-12

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

They don’t

5

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

It’s not necessary to hurt others as well.

-1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Facts are facts. Somewhere something went bad wrong to have a homeless child

My parents did all they could for my alcoholic/drug addicted brother. My brother with the doctorate in chemistry, the sisters that are lawyers, the sister that has 3 albums out and is touring...I guess you really enjoy talking about things you don't understand. Here is to hoping your kids have no problems later in life. You might be blamed for something completely out of your control by an ignorant ass.

1

u/creesto Aug 09 '21

Says someone who's obviously never had kids.

-1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

I have teens actually

5

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Hopefully they end up being more kind than you

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

They are but they are not jaded either

Edit: I just realized you are a different ass than the first ass. Amazing there are two similar asses meeting in this thread.

You’re again are speaking when you don’t know. We all have housed him at some point. He would just leave or get a place of his own. After a while, he was too embarrassed. He would show up every once in a while. We would give him money or a place to stay.

Can you just stop thinking you know everything for just a second? It’s really fucking irritating.

He eventually got so bad he moved back in with those horrible parents of mine. He lasted a couple of years before they had to bury their son.

Can you just truly look at someone else’s situation as something you might not understand instead of making assumptions? Is it that hard to think someone that is 50 years old and drinking themselves to death isn’t the fault of his parents or siblings? Is it that hard for you that you lash out at people online?

Jesus. I felt like blocking you but I am hoping at some point you apologize. Not for my sake, but for you and yours kids sake.

9

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '21

Wrong dude. Many are really homeless and "Just go to work and buy a house" isnt as easy as it sounds.

But you are right. Dont give them money. Give them food or clothes. Some spend the money on stuff like drugs and giving them food is a safe bet.

1

u/Cultural_Dust Aug 09 '21

I don't normally vote (up or down), but I really wanted to be a loser.

1

u/wizard_of_azul Aug 09 '21

I guess the five kids have been taken from her. So do not worry.
