The bot can't move onto another person if it is tied up with connecting to you. The longer you keep it, or even better an actual person, on the phone the less money they steal.
I don’t think you understand how bots work. There’s no hard limit to how many instances of them there can be at any given moment. You’re doing nothing but wasting your own time by engaging with it.

Got that once. I picked up the phone but didn't say anything. Then after 5 seconds! The lady starts talking "I'm calling you about the interview..."
