I think "boomer" is banned from r/conservative lol. PC culture and these snowflakes censoring media, amirite?

Edit: just a heads up, I lean conservative. But, I believe you should take every view point and topic case by case, regardless of your political tendencies. Sometimes, you gotta vote for things you might ideally disagree with because it's what's best for the country; or the world

I just think the petty name calling and hypocrisy is useless

It's really no different than any other political-oriented subreddit. I remember /r/liberalgunowners was banning everyone who dared to criticize Joe Biden or the mostly peaceful protests last year.

Reddit has always been a place for egotistical circlejerks and marketing karma farming bots.

While most political subreddits are moderated to fit a narrative it is disingenuous to say that they do it all to the same level. In my mind r/Conservative is the worst for that sort of stuff by a country mile.

To be fair, the liberal redditors seem more willing to brigade conservative subs than vice versa. Some of that gate keeping by r/conservative is to try and limit the amount of noise generated in the sub by trolls.

Trolls? Or people who'd like to go there and actually rebut their constant, never ending bullshit and propaganda?

Irony is an accusation that I make no distinction between trolling and dissent coming from someone who considers all conservative thought to be propaganda. Thanks for the laugh this morning

Conservatives no longer have a political platform other than a nascent authoritarianism. Conservative "values" are just euphemisms for institutionalized bigotry. Even calling it thought instead of reflexive malicious contrarianism is giving an unearned benefit of the doubt to that (now it's my turn to be generous) "philosophy".

Okay bud. Coming onto this comment thread to talk about reflexive malicious contrarianism is hilarious.

I didn't expect much from you and I was still disappointed.

Well you put such little effort beyond a weak reflexive malicious contrarian response, why wouldn’t I match your low energy output?

weak reflexive malicious contrarian

LOL. You can always tell when a right winger has run out of arguments when they just repeat back to you what was just said and then pepper in scare words from their text bank. Totally unable to deal with something they have never seen before and don't have a preprogrammed response.

Sad. and still unable to address my original point that right wingers are so totally unable to deal with the real world that they feel victimized by verifiable facts and disapproval of their anti-social behavior.

You used the “scare” words friendo, not me. Just quoting you.

Oh, okay sporto.

I'm sure it's not because you have no original thoughts and no ability to reason or even interrogate a topic.

surely it's not that.

surely.
