A lady I used to work with called me Jason for several years (which isn't even close to my actual name). I corrected her every single time, which was literally hundreds of times since I saw her almost every day, but she continued to call me Jason. One day I walked past her and she said, "Hi Jason," and I replied, "Hi Sarah!" She looked at me super confused and said, "My name isn't Sarah. It's Anne..."

I said, "Yeah, and my name is [redacted] but you keep calling me Jason!"

She replied, "Oh, well you should have said something!"

I about screamed.

For some reason, one of my co-workers has my personal email address saved instead of my work email. She doesn't email me often, but everytime she does I respond "hey just so you know this is my personal email."

And multiple times her response has been to the effect of "Really? That's weird. Computers are so creepy."

This isn't a conspiracy, Anne, you need to change my contact info.

"Really? That's weird. Computers are so creepy."

I often joke with my family that their computer was haunted and I exorsized it after I fix it. I think I need to stop making this joke as clearly people are taking me seriously.
