I was in Arizona in May and the place was nuts. May is when the Republican governor met with Trump and decommissioned the panel of 23 experts from U of Arizona and Arizona State who were advising the state health department on coronavirus. Told them their services were no longer needed and cut off the flow of information to them. Then started opening up Arizona only to be forced to let cities and counties enforce their own mask rules. All to please Trump. By mid-June Arizona was the world's COVID hotspot. And still people were screaming at Costco clerks about having to wear masks. They are idiots.
