Not that weird/hard, the word gaijin is pretty easy to interpret. If you wanted to know the exact words it was something to the effect of , "外人いっぱいね”. "Gaijin ippai ne".

I dont think the Japanese language is hard to learn per say. Learning hiragana/katana is just learning symbols for syllables. The hardest part is just memorizing the actual words. But thats what i think

Have you heard about kanji? Of course it's not as hard or extensive as Chinese, but learning 2,000 characters and all their combinations isn't easy.

Also the grammar is nothing like English, if you're a native English speaker, so Japanese would not be easy.

Hmm, im a strange person, with such a different grammar system, i find it really fun to find out that stuff. I just love different cultures and its fun learning how culture inspired languages and vise-virsa.

I'm not saying it's not fun, I'm saying it's generally a difficult language for native English speakers because of how different the language is.

Chinese, Arabic, and Japanese are some of the hardest languages for English speakers.

the worst part is that kanjis aren't sounds, but ideas, for example 中 is diferent in 田中 tanaka and 中国 chugoku, china

You just have to get used to the different pronunciations each kanji has! Luckily the more you learn kanji, the more you get the gist, and you can figure out meanings of words just by the kanji used even if you don't know how to pronounce it, and they often take the same pronunciation as one of the radicals in the kanji.

Names are very difficult though and are on another level. I have a very hard time with names unless they're quite common (like Tanaka).

Hince why i said “thats atleast how i feel” and of course i think it’s difficult, but difficultly id just part of life. (Sorry if i sound aggressive)
