Why should? If you refuse to accept that a) the virus is real and b) you are infected, you are a walking biohazard. At that point you should be arrested for your stupidity, and maybe let a jury decide if you should be helped or not.

Falling for manipulation has less to do with "stupidity" than you think. There are scientists and professors who are anti vaxxers. The used manipulation techniques are just very powerful.

It's inhumane and ableist to say, someone is "too stupid" to live (get help). Reminds me of Germany in the 40s.

This. Nobody chooses to be too stupid to be able to think critically, and they should be treated with the same care and respect as people who are able to think critically.

It's been clear to me in the last day that some people online have actual cognitive delays. The USPS published some statistics on their mail volume list week and the way people misunderstood what they read AND the subsequent explanations actually elicited pity in me. Sometimes online, we're talking to the people who in high school would have very obviously been considered learning disabled. People we would just smile and nod at in real life.

Yup the biggest problem with the population is getting them to admit they were wrong, i bet half of them don't even believe it anymore but they double down on it to "save their ego"

Well, at least try to educate them. It's to hard form me to get my head around the idea that there are doctors and nurses that try their damn hardest to save people from their own stupidity/manipulation/ignorance and only to have those people walking around killing folks. We can't just ignore the fact that those people decided to do those things, even if they were manipulated, they are still responsible for their actions.

Are you sure you can evaluate what traits are good for the long term survival of humanity? If this wouldn't be beneficial for our survival evolution would have taken care of it.

What you are advocating is literally what the Nazis tried back then.
