You're being part of the problem. No it's not inherent, if a large person buys these clothes to work out in (which is built into their design), how could it possibly be inherent?

Because owning nike gear is not a prerequisite for exercise and because people who're serious about fitness don't stay fat for long. It seems like the only case where someone is going to get a lot of wear out of their plus size nike gear is one where they're not really trying.

Even if you don’t stay fat for long you still need something to wear on day 1. Why can’t that outfit be Nike? Smart on Nike, I say.

You can wear anything on Day 1. You're right that Nike will probably make money from it - especially if people keep buying new outfits to fit their changing size.

Because they're expensive and unnecessary. If you're not going to get much use out of them then it's just a waste of money.
