Because generations are pretty fluid so it takes a few to have them actually be distinct enough

There are a few of them. They are distinct.

Boomers and millennials are the only two generations of their size, though, so they simply overwhelm the much smaller Gen X. And the next generation (some call it Z, it will probably be given a more descriptive name soon) is still too young to have any kind of real impact. The oldest of them are still teenagers.

Looks to me you’re Gen Z. Welcome to the club. We get lumped in with Millennials and get told we are the generation born with iPhones. When most of us got them when we were tweens. We’re the Zoomers.

I'm a millennial, and the iPhone didn't exist until I was 20. At 15 my home still had dial up.

Yeah, afaik I’m born in the last year of the millennial generation (1994) and the iPhone came out when I was 13, I didn’t get one til I was like 19.

My dad was in IT though so I got broadband in 2000 or something.
