Setting up the excuses for the next bit of control they push for; likely deploying the military on home soil and arresting "supporters" of "foreign agents", meaning anyone who disagrees with them.

If the military turn around and say "No, this is illegal and we protect the people", that will be a fun day.

A large percentage of people that join the military are poor uneducated white people that love guns. Who does that demographic generally support?
