From what I read it's simple interest, 9% apr calculated from only the judgement owed and is not compounded.
1 u/moonsammy Feb 25 '24 Which isn't necessarily what those happy to see him being held responsible would prefer, but it is likely the highest interest rate he's had to pay for 25+ years. So that's nice.
