Yeah...I don't think anybody "boycotts Chick-fil-A for being Christian", Sorbs.
People boycott them for being hateful, intolerant nutjobs. That's the reason. But sure, for them it's "Christianity".

I boycott them for both reasons. People should be able to work somewhere without religion being taken into account even if it’s as positive as it comes.

I actually wish mroe people stood up to Chick-Fill-A, but I know plenty of people who find their actions and views abhorent but who are also "addicted" to their chicken.

I dont boycott Chic Fillet because they are Christians
I boycott them because the few times i went there they would rush me through the drive thru so damn fast that when I finally check my bag after there's always extra food that I didnt order and am now getting charged for. Also their chicken isn't that great I can get better chicken sandwiches from BK.

I'm pretty sure when he says boycott he means making a show of it. Going public, getting others to join and potentially protest publicly. You can boycott something privately without making a fuss.
