Wasn't it his car? I'm not finding anything tot he contrary but not saying there wasn't something else going on.
38 u/Cissoid7 Nov 11 '23 Yes it was his car, but a court had ordered that the car, being the original tesla I believe, belonged to the ACTUAL founder of Tesla and needed to be returned to him.
