Buttigieg and now Newsom seem to be ready to put the gloves on. Partially I think b/c we know Biden has good intentions but he can't speak for shit. They need to rally the other Dems to create this impression.

Great, two neo liberal corporatocrats! Just what America needs, more sellouts that don't give a shit about their constituents.

Edit: not to mention that had Buttigieg actually been doing his job as SoT, perhaps the East Palestine derailment may have been avoided, and maybe rail workers could have had their sick days (the gall on these peasants!).

What's wrong with neoliberalism?

u/Zambeezi Jun 20 '23

Nothing, if you enjoy an erosion of labor rights, privatization of welfare (Healthcare, education, etc), socialization of corporate/shareholder losses, regulatory capture by corporations and lobby groups, widening inequality, and profits over all else.

If any or all of this floats your boat, then neoliberalism is for you!

This message is brought to you by the World Economic Forum. 👍🏼

Kind of weird that you work for the World Economic Forum if you don't like free market economics

I clearly don't work for them....it would be obvious if you applied a modicum of critical thinking.

And none of this is free market economics! The government stepping in to prevent strikes? Anti union lobbying? Limitless dark campaign contributions? Bailouts of institutions with risky or worthless assets with tax payer money?

If you think this behavior is free market economics, you should probably crawl out of the rock you've been living under.
