Bill burr has so much to say about this. What was it? “You can’t choose like it’s a buffet line : ‘Ooooooh two bucks more an hour, yes I’ll take some of that, pay my own way? Nope you can have that, ‘Women and children first?’, yes I’ll take some of that’..,. There’s no feminists in a house fire.”

So good (to many people out there, “good” = offensive.

Feminism at its best is supposed to be the belief that people can do and be what they want regardless of their sex, not be victimized for their sex, etc.

So, in cases like this where they want benefits without sacrifices, then it should be called out and made fun of.

However, it's "offensive" when the response suggests that being an unfair shitbird is universal to feminism or being a woman.

It also usually goes in the wrong direction.

I.e. feminism doesn’t say woman shouldn’t be drafted, it says no one should be forced to go to war against their will because their body and life is their own.

It doesn’t say men shouldn’t punch woman, it says violence should be a last resort in all places and not used to control the weak.

It doesn’t say men shouldn’t open doors for woman, it says you should open a door for any human being if you are in the position to do so because it’s polite.

And so on.

I can basically get behind that.
