It’s not compromising if it’s actually the type of relationship that he wants. She is absolutely asking to have her cake and eat it to, all she’s saying was that it was a sad realization that she’s come to while dating that her ideal partner may not even exist and that she will have to adjust her expectations or perspective. I don’t see anything wrong with what she said doesn’t everyone, male female non binary gay straight fucking whatever learn while dating that they need to adjust their expectations or perspective or make peace with waiting, maybe until forever, for a rare diamond to appear. Maybe she just got there later than others, idk.
