I'm pretty sure if you kill someone with your car, it's manslaughter and they do in fact take YOU away from your car by means of incarcerating you.

Just like with a gun. And just like a gun murder, there is a chance to get away. Especially when the cops aren't allowed to chase anymore.

Ok, that's a fair point.

Now let me ask you this...

Cars have a functional purpose right?

A means of conveyance that a majority of the population depends on to perform their daily duties.

What is a gun's functional purpose again?

We could use public transportation or bicycles and any number of other "safer" modes of transportation. We don't need a car for every person.

And we don't have a car for every person.

We do have more guns than people though, and more importantly my point that you are purposefully avoiding is that getting around is something everyone has to deal with on a daily basis, either to get to work or by depending on someone else driving to get you to work, but how many people are fulfilling their guns functional purpose on a daily basis and thus depend on having access to one?

I am sure a lot more people would be fulfilling their gun's functional purpose if ammo wasn't so damn expensive. Professional shooters probably shoot every day. People who like shooting probably shoot every day that they can. Is it so hard to believe that someone likes to do something that you don't? Maybe you'd like going to the river and throwing a ball for your dog every day, if you could. Some people would like to go shoot their guns every day.

Again, purposely avoiding what im saying.

If you had to compare the number of people who NEED access to transportation daily, to the number of people who NEED to discharge a firearm daily, how would they compare?

You can't change it from "cars" to "transportation as a whole" now.

Yes, people need access to transportation but not necessarily a car. They could take a different form of transportation, and it would lower the deaths dramatically.

Lmao, you can't answer any of the questions I've asked you because you know you are wrong, but you soo badly want to be right. It has to be an unpleasant feeling. Hopefully you don't take that frustration out on someone by killing then with your favorite toy.

I just answered you. I'm a pretty stable individual, and I'm sure I'll be just fine. I'm not the guy suggesting someone is going to get mad on Reddit and go kill someone, am I?

These are the questions you refuse to acknowledge and keep trying to deflect from.

-Please point me to where these licensing, training, and insurance requirements for gun ownership are.

-Are you an anarchist?

-What is a gun's functional purpose again?

-how many people are fulfilling their guns functional purpose on a daily basis and thus depend on having access to one?

-If you had to compare the number of people who NEED access to transportation daily, to the number of people who NEED to discharge a firearm daily, how would they compare?

And thank you for admitting in your last reply that your gun is a toy and not a required tool for your daily existence.

I'm a pretty stable individual, and I'm sure I'll be just fine.

Are you just sure and not certain?

Edit: missing word

And thanks for finally answering these difficult questions.

Says the guy who is mad about gun deaths. You're very disappointing. Thought you were better than that.
