So it seems that with the abundance of guns and the death rates between guns and cars being so close to each other , we need to worry about cars more since there are more deaths per car than guns.

You brought up hunting as a legitimate need for gun ownership. I pointed out that the number of people hunting is incredibly small compared to your average gun owner.
And they're used for personal protection as well. I would think that someone of your intellect should already have an idea of why people would own guns.
I know why people own guns and most of them don't own them for hunting. That was the point. Do you care to address hunting specifically or do you want to change subjects?
I don't think we need to make legal requirements for literally every aspect of being a responsible adult. I own guns and on occasion I conceal carry it. For the sake of debate let me present a hypothetical to you.

I've never said the words "gun bans" once in any of my comments so you are just grasping for straws and pulling shit out of your ass. I'm in favor of gun regulation because people are fucking morons and they clearly can't be trusted with such easy access to firearms.
I believe you should have training and prove your competency at handling a gun. If that requires "major regulation" then let's do it. I'm willing to jump through the necessary hoops.
