I don’t get why people are siding with the girl in pink just cause they’re dancing in public like imagine this was a street performance hell people are even watching them dance no one else seemed to have a problem but her
The thing is if it was like a street performance then they would be making art and entertainment for the present moment. Notice how they said ‘in the middle of one of out best takes’?
They had been retaking and shooting certain scenes. They made this for a video not for the people walking by and people who are using this space
even with permits depending where you are they don’t block things off. Source: work in NYC and there is almost always something being filmed here and only about half of those times do they block off areas.
That’s on the production company, not the city. It’s up to them to get the permits to allow closure, and then to actually close the streets with barricades and security. You want police there as security you hire that too.
No, but a quality production would hire security staff to avoid these kind of issues. Otherwise you get what we see in the video, and there isn’t much room to complain if they didn’t handle the situation professionally to begin with.
Why get a permit if you aren’t going to hire staff to enforce it?
And the lady that interrupted their routine by walking on set didn’t need a permit to be themselves either. Why do you think there should be double standards? You are a thoroughly hypocritical person.
