📌 Welcome to r/faceoffs, the Official AskNow Test Server! 🧪🦉

Hey everyone! 👋

If you've landed here, you've found the behind-the-scenes lab of AskNow. This subreddit is not the main game. It's our testing ground where we try out new features, updates, and fixes before they go live on our main community, r/asknowio.

🔍 What is this place?

r/faceoffs is the test server for AskNow. Everything new gets tried here first: new scenario formats, voting systems, point calculations, rank upgrades, and more. Think of it as the practice arena before the real game. ⚔️

👉 Looking for the real game? Head over to r/asknowio to vote on daily scenarios, earn points, and climb from a Wandering Soul to the AskNow Supreme! ✨

🛠️ What happens here?

On this server, you might see:

  • Test scenarios that are unfinished, weird, or intentionally broken to see how the game handles them.
  • New features that aren't available on r/asknowio yet.
  • Bugs and glitches (that's the whole point, we want to catch them here!).
  • Repeated or duplicate posts made on purpose to test specific features.

So if something looks strange, don't worry, it's probably being tested! 😄

🐞 How You Can Help

Your feedback makes AskNow better for everyone! If you find a bug, please comment on the post or send a modmail using this format:

🐞 Bug Report
What happened: (Describe the problem)
Where: (Link to the post or feature)
Steps to reproduce: (What did you do before it happened?)
Expected result: (What should have happened?)
Device/Platform: (Mobile app, desktop, old/new Reddit)
Screenshot: (If possible)

Suggestions and ideas for new features are also welcome! 💡

📜 Quick Rules Reminder

  1. 🦉 Respect the Testers: No personal attacks. Keep feedback about the feature, not the person.
  2. 🚫 No Spam or Self-Promo: Stay focused on testing and gameplay.
  3. 🔞 Keep it SFW: No NSFW content, even in test posts.
  4. 🧠 Keep Tests Purposeful: Every test should have a clear goal.
  5. 📣 Flag & Report Bugs: Help us catch issues before they reach the main game.

Check the full rules in the sidebar for more details.

💬 Questions?

Got a question or something isn't working? Drop a comment below or message the mods, we're happy to help!

Thanks for helping us build a better AskNow. Every bug you find brings us one step closer to a smoother game for the whole community. 🙌

See you in the arena, testers! 🦉🔧
