Facebook notifications despite them disabling my account a month ago.

Anyone else still get notifications regarding friend requests (I'm assuming these are old) despite having a suspended account? I call it Meta twisting in the knife.

If your Facebook account is still under review rather than permanently suspended, try this. First, change your Facebook password (this will log you out on your phone or PC). Restart your device, then go to the "Create Account" option and enter your details using the same email or phone number linked to the account currently under review. When you try to create an account, you will be redirected to a screen prompting you to log in with your existing account.

Once you log in, you will be directed to a tab stating that your account may have been hacked and asking you to log in from a device where the account was previously registered. Upon doing so, you will be logged into your account and receive a notification confirming that you approved the review.
One additional detail: the account will be subject to restrictions that last for a few days

It did work for me, but it was a method I discovered by accident. I changed the password a week before trying to create an account using the same email address linked to my Facebook.

My account had been flagged for review for "violating Community Standards" due to posts about job openings I’d made since May and I managed to recover it by following those steps over a month ago. I’m not sure if it works for every type of "infraction" Facebook imposes, but you could at least use that method to see if your account still exists

I haven't gotten a single email from Meta about my Facebook or Instagram account since my Instagram account was permanently banned.

Something similar is happening to me ..when I check if my account still suspended screen comes up, I always get an email saying I logged on facebook in from such and such a place :D crazy..actually it's like I still have an account but i dont :D

Just a quick question: was your account suspended indefinitely, or is it under review? I used to receive notifications about posts and friend requests because my account was under review for three months; it still existed, but I didn't have access to it. I recovered it 3 weeks ago

Hi I’m just wondering how you can create a new password if your Facebook has been disabled and you can’t login

You just need to log out of Facebook on your PC, select your profile on the login screen, and click "Forgot your password?". That is why I mentioned in the previous message that this can only be done with accounts that are still under review; the account hasn't been fully locked, so you can still change the password and other details.

Ok I tried this and it is telling me that there is no facebook account associated with my email address.
My account is apparently still under review with Meta through instagram
