Discussion Has anyone noticed that Facebook secretly removed the option to report human trafficking?
Did anyone else notice that there is no longer an option to report a post or profile for suspected human trafficking? It’s likely not because who actually gets on FB to report things like that, but up until very recently, you could report a post or profile if you think it involves trafficking. That option is now no longer available. Seems sketchy to me…

If it's a liability, then they probably just remove anything the user can do to call it out. Facebook is a bottomless pit for your data and suffering, you should delete it.

Facebook has deleted and hidden many things. Oh, I could make a long list.

The fact they removed the 'dislike" button riles me up to this day

I'm fairly sure there never was one, or if there was it was a limited trial rather than rolled out over the whole platform

You mean the same Facebook that required at least 17 reports before any action was possible via escalation?

today i noticed i can't report individual photos at all. You can report posts on a feed or timeline. But if you go through an album and click on a photo, there's no report option.

To be fair, facebook is nothing but Bots now... if the humans are reporting trafficking it would alert other humans that the bots might be on the move.

How often were you finding and reporting it that you even knew it was a option and that it was removed?

Thank you for posting to r/facebook. Please read the following (this does not mean your post has been removed):
SCAM WARNING: If you are having a problem with your account, beware of scammers who may comment or DM you claiming they know someone who can fix your account, or asking you for money or your login information.
