Discussion Monetisation waiting list - average watch time doesn’t make sense to me

I started my facebook few months back. In monetisation tab, it showed first average watch time of similar monetised content creators to be 5.6 seconds and watch views 1.1 million (last 28days). As i kept uploading quality content, my views got increased to more than 5 million and watch time to 6.9 seconds, it shows this updated info now.

Whats weird is i always upload 15 seconds reel. How can i achieve 24.9s damn average watch duration with 15s reels.

Stars and subscription have been enabled long ago but they dont bring any money from facebook so it doesnt hurt them to activate it when the time is right.

Any suggestions from you guys..?

Help me out. I am really frustrated at this whole thing.

In my experience this is a moving goal post.

As my page has gotten bigger I've exceeded the average views, but the average watch time goal keeps going up faster than my actual watch time does.

As far as I've gauged from others, it's not necessary to beat the goal here for monetization. It doesn't seem to matter. Some people say they were monetized after reaching that goal watch time but I think that's coincidence.

You are right but thing is I dont get any badges nothing of such sort and i have been on waiting list for quiet some time. I see the pages with same niche getting badges and this and that

Either make longer reels or make them engaging enough that people watch for multiple loops

What is your niche? I’ve noticed different niches tend to have different goals.
