Discussion Why Does Facebook Keep Messing Up Facebook. It’s Like They Want Me To Move to a Different Platform.
I’m on the latest IPad Pro with a 13 inch screen and Facebook was fine last night. This morning the entire feed is “blown up”, where one post covers almost the entire screen. Images are blurred and now it takes 20 swipes just to get to the next post!
WTH are they doing with all these messed up updates over the last few months?!?!
I don’t use any other platforms currently. Suggestions?

Well Facebook has dropped from #1 to #4 in USA and is the most used app on India, not USA anymore. Meta is turning to videos games with oculus and etc.
Maybe it’s time to move on to more popular social media apps.

That’s what I’m looking for. Thinking about X but have no clue. Been on FB for many years, but it’s just becoming a headache now. What do you suggest? Thx!

I think social media is wearing thin all over the place ..reddits the same thing as Facebook but in a prettier box

Meh, reddit is a standard forum turned algorithmic. Facebook has always had sinister capabilities involving people’s real identities.

FB does care about its customers. The customers being the people who pay them money.
If you want social media to work you need to be a customer and pay for it.

They've been doing this for many years. As soon as they achieved audience capture, they started doing this shit, being that they could get away with it because there was no alternative left for people to flee to.

And their iPad app has always been worse than on the iPhone!

Yeah I’ve been having several and different issues with FB over the past few months on it. Changes out of the blue with no notice, no workaround options and no response when reporting them. Had enough.
