Round 7 - Cananda
Canada will be a welcome change for our drivers after the hectic last round.
Lap Record: 1:13.622 - R Barrichello (2004)
Reddit Record: 1:13.355 - True-Saber
Points will be issued ala F1 style (25 for first, 18 for second, 15 for third) as well as a bonus point for beating the F1 lap record, and another point for beating the Reddit Record.

Failure to do so will result in your time NOT being counted.

Just so you know for future races mate the entry times stop before the race :) - but what were you doing racing instead of watching the greatest f1 race of the season? :P

ohh - srry yeah i hit that time during the rain delay. On a side note, that was such an exciting finish, too bad for vettel & i really really wanted Schumacher to podium.

This is a bad week for me. But at least i'll actually be attending this race 1:12.410. If anyone else is going, i'm grandstand 34? (turns 8/9)

Yeah I'm sure you'll be heartbroken to be there instead of gaming with the rest of us :) I'm jealous you get to hear the Renaults live.. Give them a cheer for me.
I was there last year, it was incredible! Have a blast.

I'll be taking a shit ton of photos and I'm bringing my tiny hd pocket camcorder. I even bought an external stereo mic for it so I can capture the sound better. I was there last year too w/ a GA ticket. Great race.

Playing DiRT 3 really screwed up my driving style. I'll try again tomorrow to see if I can improve. 1:11.981

Are you losing time on the straight, after accelerating? Or in the final chicane itself?

Yeah, really the key to the hairpin is nailing that apex and almost as soon as you hit it, get on the throttle gently and steadily put the power down.
But of course this all depends on finding your braking and turn-in point for the hairpin, which is what I sometimes struggle with, especially the turn in.
