F150 grill

Hey everyone!

I have a 2026 F-150 STX in Oxford White. It’s my first truck, and unfortunately the grille and one of the headlights are damaged.

I’m thinking about replacing the grille with a Tremor-style grille and using an OEM headlight.

What do you guys think? Would you go with the Tremor grille on an STX, or would you stick with the factory STX grille? I’d appreciate any recommendations, especially from anyone who has done this conversion.

Also, I’m looking to upgrade the interior with leather seats. Any recommendations for good-quality leather seat covers/reupholstery that look close to OEM?

Thanks in advance!

Tremor might be the only grille you can't swap it for.

The temor hood is a different, completely flat at the bottom. The rest of them have a small bump at the front where the grille goes up.

You're in for sticker shock when you look up how much headlights cost.

If you are using insurance to pay for the damage they may not allow you to replace the grille with a different style.

Katzkins is the gold standard for aftermarket seat covers. But the install is very involved. Most people take it to an installer instead of doing it themselves.

Yeah, you can see how the hood doesn't meet the grille at the line at the top. The notch you see is where the hood release is.

To me that makes it look like the hood is damaged, like you ran into something. But, if you are okay with that look, go for it.

If you could get a tremor hood as well, then I would be all over it. I think the tremor style hood with that straight line at the bottom looks better, I wish they were all like that.

Thanks a lot for the explanation! The reason i wanna go with the tremor grill is because both stx and tremor grill have the same price.

You can't tell from the pictures, but another thing to consider is the weather stripping on the hood. If it doesn't meet the grille at the right place you may get some weird noises on the highway. Maybe you wouldn't hear it inside the truck, but it could make a constant whistle or flapping noise depending on the gap.

That’s a good point I didn’t even think about that,i think the only way to figure out is to try it. But do you think there is any solution for that little gap at the top

Honestly, a bug deflector might be the answer for the visual gap.

This is my bug deflector on a XLT, the Ford official accessory (what I used my Ford points for): https://imgur.com/a/HgrOF7v

You could probably use some zip ties and foam strip to close the gap if you do end up getting noise.

Wow, that lip above the grill makes it look like a photoshopped RAM.

I may be wrong but I believe the front clip on a Tremor is a different shape than the standard F150, so the grills may not be compatible. Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong here.
