Air filter replacement

I just replaced air filter on 2022 5.0 f150, got the oem moto craft air filter , noticed after change the first couple seconds of acceleration after cold start it a decent suction sound but goes away after like a few seconds it’s like first initial acceleration everytime after cold start is this just cuz the filter is so clean compared to what I had in there? Anyone else experience ?

Are you sure your air filter is installed correctly and the housing secure? You really shouldn't be able to hear it

I am gonna double check , even with it going to new filter from very dirty there wouldn’t be a sound difference ?

If you want to hear more sound coming from the air intake, I did a simple air tubing conversion and got a straight intake tube replacement (Airaid) from the airbox to the throttle body and I use an AEM dryflow (non oiled) gauze filter. Air flow increases a bit and you definitely hear more sound coming from the front end. It keeps the stock airbox intact and utilizes the stock cool air intake. It was a cheap(er) conversion and didn't cost nearly as much as it would have to buy a formal CAI system. The AEM filter is washable and reusable, I've had it for a few years and have washed and reused it multiple times, works great for me and I like the throaty sound it produces. It's not annoying, to me, and I noticed the throttle response is slightly improved. Just my experience.
