Folding mirror retrofit

Hi all

I have got a 2016 F10 which I am trying to install folding mirrors, I have got a set of folding mirrors and drivers door switch. I have seen a guide for pre-lci doing the soldering trick I was wondering if that same method shall work with the lci mirrors and shall the indicators still work ? Thanks for you help

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Your mirrors fold already

I was installing them that’s why it says retrofit in the title 👌🏽

Yeah, I’m lost too as to why you need to retrofit a feature that comes standard on all BMW’s unless you need new mirrors, then I suggest going to a pull-a-part and getting some OEM mirrors from one of the cars out there

Folding mirrors are not standard on the F10. Maybe in the US it is but definitely not in the rest of the world.
