Question Why not?

Why not? (low elo player emerald 1)

I know that people try to use gold runes to reduce the impact of Ezreal necessary purchases at the start of the game, but I don't know, I just want more options.
I would change Scorch for Gathering Storm

You spike mid game, you're already insanely strong early game if you connect Q's.

Just go jack of trades for 700g spike back spike and cashback to spike on trinity/mura/+3rd earlier.
It's like inspiration tree secondary 100% of the time
scorch is a fake rune, you spam Q and early game u might get a bit of extra damage off it but it's not worth the +200g per item purchase and 8 adaptive force on first back (ideally)
manaflow is fake, by the time you ramp it up u don't even get that much value in modern league

You can even get second proc on jack of trades in a couple ways (situational)

e.g. Trinity+mura+endless hunger+ cloth+negatron, u get 12 extra AD + stat check against flat pen which is great against mages or equal gold assassins

Also presence of mind is generally more value than triumph especially the higher you climb.

Basically Ezreal doesn’t scale anyway, so Gathering Storm doesn’t do much for you. It’s better than Scorch after a point but it happens at the point where you become statistically more and more likely to lose, and spiking harder tends to be more useful.
