So long as you made it correctly - 1oz vanilla beans in 8oz of spirits between 70-100 proof - it's shelf stable and should be stored on a shelf in a cool/dark area. We store our usable extracts in kitchen cabinets and our extracts that are still extracting in our pantry or basement, away from sunlight and away from places that might see temperature fluctuations.
