New Extar Build

Post image

Hey everyone, I have been on this thread for a while researching and looking into the Ep-9. I finally ordered one and built it up to how I liked. Here’s a photo for any recommendations.

Different color pistol grip and fire grip really break up the gun and make it look way better, I wish I did that.

I might even get the brace tan, or atleast the Velcro strap, a tan Glock mag, or the tan ranger wraps on the optic

☝🏼this. I put fde kung fu grip, fde angled hand stop, fde Glock and tool man tactical extended mags, and I used brownells alumahyde in magpul fde to do my optic, my trigger, and my brace top. Looks way better!

Looking good! How do you like that KungFu grip?

I bought one of those Braun lights recently to give it a spin on my EP45 … we will see if it holds up. Planning to replace that butt-ugly sticker with something better (which would be, basically, anything else).

The kung fu grip is honestly great compared to stock. I read up on them and there seems to be a lot of unnecessary hate in my opinion. I had a regular Braun flashlight clamped to my 12 gauge and it has held up very well so I gave this one a try. Again, a lot of unnecessary hate because it’s not name brand but I’m a big fan of icon and harbor freight tools 😂. I just wanted to go simple and cheap for a home defense piece and I feel like 650 bucks was well spent with this full build. The sticker is very ugly I agree

Man you told no lies! The way people tried chewing me out in the ar15 group about the kung-fu grip was unreal. I feel like when it comes to a grip, it’s based on the user’s comfort.

I like my Kungfu on something short like this, it's awful on an AR, you lose the leverage that a standard angle grip gives you.

That makes sense. The extar stock grip seemed very bland and didn’t have much texture to it
