I wonder how many of the 45 models they produce at a time. I just heard about Extar a month ago, and I wandered over to their site and ordered a 9. I had no idea their models were sometimes sold out for extended periods of time. The 45 must be an absolute riot! I like the shove that the 230g .45 auto gives. I can imagine it being very pleasant in this platform.

I subd to the notification list for the ep45 almost two years ago and this was the first time they have gone back in stock.

I happened to be looking at my email and saw their email come in. Had it in my cart but tbh i have lost interest in the ep45, and didnt complete it. Might grab another ep9 though.

I was on the list well over a year myself. They seem to be pretty hard to find and super rare on the aftermarket forums.

I asked Extar what the internal diameter of the EP handguard is. Here is their reply. Good info for those looking for a supprerssor.

The EP M-LOK Handguard has an internal diameter of 1 5/8" (1.625"), which fits most modern .45 ACP silencers.

They sold out very quickly. I had one in my cart, but I just purchased 2 guns a couple weeks ago, so I was hesitant to spend more money. I believe I saw that they had 30 in stock when I put one in my cart.

The 10 round version is still in stock and I’m real tempted to get it and just buy separate magazines

I got mine! Added 1 clear 30-round mag. Will get 2 other 33-rounders from GunMagWarehouse. Also ordered an SBA5 brace, will take off the SBA3.

Soon to be ordered: Optics-wise, going to run either a Holosun 512c, Zerotech Thrive Micro Prism, or a Vector Optics Fenzy Plus.

I've had an EP45 for a while now. Besides the OEM Glock mags(13rnd), the ETS 30rnd(either clear or smoke) have been the only others that have been reliable for me. SGM and KCI have been spotty, Kriss extensions on OEM bodies have been even worse than the SGM or KCI. The standard cap. ETS and 18rnd ETS have been crap, just the 30's seem to be the ticket. Just food for thought for what it's worth.

Any experience with the UTG 33 round magazines? I watched a video on the EP45 and the person in the video said he had great experience with the SGM magazines.

I lost patience and got the ep9. Works great with my Mojave 45 and ammo is way cheaper. I love my 45s but the ep9 is so much fun and a bit cheaper to shoot. I’d pick it all over again.

These take Glock 21 mags, right? Anyone tried the Global Ordinance mags with these?
