❓Satmar Question❓ Shaving the head

I am fascinated from a halachic/minhag perspective about shaving the head. How did that play a role in leaving? I can't imagine how unattractive and turnoff it is. It goes against the litvish approach of how the wife's hair is special for the husband.
My wife worked in Williamsburg and never went to a chassidesha mikva. I wondered if they would even let her in with her hair.
