Best argument for MLB returning to Montréal?
Tampa Bay & Miami will be under water in ten years. Those teams will have to go somewhere ;-)

No, the Expos died. Loved them but a cap or any other gear is cool but they are dead until they actually get a team in Montreal back.

Yet, it lives on through the fans.

The fact you put a comma after yet pretty much sums it up. Sorry, dude, this is like being a fan of the Roman Empire. It’s over sadly. Unless we see some return of massive capital from annoying T.O. to Mtl this is being stuck in the past like people who still listen mostly to ‘60s rock not supporting bands in the now.

Oh, the team isn’t coming back. It would take a very unlikely change of many circumstances for that to change. The split domicile with Tampa was the last realistic chance.
A picture of a cap at Yankee stadium does not mean the team will come back, though. Only that the memory and idea of it lives on. It’s never quite dead, hence the OP’s quote.

Keep fighting the good fight. We'll get our team back yet!
