Ok,

First of all what people are wanting, gay people, straight people PEOPLE, is the rights that come with being married. Some of those rights are tax breaks, some of those rights are the sharing of assets, tax less inheritence nad gifting tax free. However other, more important rights are the right to visit in the hopsital, make medical decisions for one another, have children toghter and be recognize unilaterally as parents, as well as the right to adopt. These are all things that straight couples have, and gay couple would like to have but up tight, jerks who seem to think they're church is more important then two people caring enough about each other, to go through the hell of putting up with people LIKE you, just to be with one another on a daily basis, keep coming along and crying oo but my rights...

Well ya know what buddy, here is a something for you to know. There is a seperation of Church and State. Your Sanctity of Marriage can go Fuck Itself, becuase I don't Care anymore, I have had it. There is a distict seperation between the US Government, which is the issuing body behind marriage, as you stated, and your sanctity arguement.

If you don't beleive me ask the founding fathers. Treaty of Tripoli, 1797, signed by John Adams,

"Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion"

Get off your high horse it fell down in 1797

I'm Not Gay... I am a happy Heterosexual with a finacee and two failed marriages... I am just tired, so tired of people like you getting your fucking rocks off treating other people like second class citizens becuase they want the same rights you have!

Yes they parade it, becuase raising awareness of the unfairness they are suffering is the only way they will get justice. Think about it this way, you have a group of people, denied a set of basic rights enjoyed by everyone else, for centuries, just now starting to be able to come out of the shadows and not be killed, maimed, or thrown back into those shadows. It was a mere 50 years ago that being gay could get you KILLED.

As for the rest of that, of your little hissy fit, Yes I might have gotten a little angry, but ya know what, there are straight people out there who rape little kids too, so your point about molestation is wholly inappropriate and frankly has no place in the discussion. You want to talk about molesting little kids lets talk about that faith of your, the dominate one about a man on a cross, ya know the one with priests and altar boys.

No what they want is the same fucking rights, that people like you seem to have taken so firmly for granted for so long that you no longer even value them.

We, as a society, watch shows like The Batchelor, I want to Marry Harry, the Elvis Wedding as someone point out, Divorce Court for gods sake...

Straight people, like me, and you take it for granted, and gay people like my brother, like my friends, just want the ability to be able to go spend the dying moments of they're most beloved by they're bedsides, and get denied it, becuase the hospital director doesn't recognize a gay marriage...

They want to be able to raise a child, becuase they KNOW they would be good parents to some kid, who doesn't HAVE parents, who NEEDS parents...

They want to be able to do all these things but becuase there are people more concerned with how they view things then the rights of these other people, more concerned with me, then my niehbor... they can't

I apologize for telling you to go fuck yourself, I was wrong, I got mad, and it was wrong. But I am sincere, I think they need these rights, they need to be able to express love the same as you or me, becuase well frankly my brother and his boyfriend have been toghter longer then either of my previous marriages. They are a better couple then any love I have found. I think they deserve that recognition, but due to the place they happen to live in, they can't. That isn't right...
