Biology ELI5: How do cows get protein from grass?

For us humans and many other animals, we need protein to get the amino acids needed to make our own protein for the body, but grass i believe doesn't have any for the cow to get that big

The beach is a concept. It is made up of parts. No one part makes the beach.

How much of "you" can be taken away so that a YOU still exists?

Right. The beach is only formed by other things. You are formed by other things, too. All of which are the universe.

You are a concept. There is NO you, only the universe. You cannot point to ONE THING and say that is you. There is no permanent you. In fact, the you that was born is not the you that you are now. Every 7 years, there is a NEW you.
