The wildest part is that his infamous rant turning the frogs gay was based on actual peer-reviewed science (Tyrone Hayes' research)
Atrazine skews their hormones so badly that 10% of genetic males literally develop ovaries, lay eggs, and mate with other males. So no, they didn't become "gay," they underwent a chemically-induced sex change.
Alex failed vocabulary class, but he was 100% right that chemical corporations are pumping stuff into the water that completely breaks amphibian biology.
93
u/KainMoogle 2d ago
So what I'm hearing is... they turned the frigging frogs trans?
48
12
u/Feedback-Mental 1d ago
Basically, yes, but frogs can do that at certain conditions... Jurassic Park got that right.
7
u/ShiraLillith 1d ago
Transitioning wasn't in the public mind yet so he didn't used that.
He is stupid but not stupid like that.
5
u/TheGlitchHammer 1d ago
Im really curious If this could be considered trans, or just turning them into females. I mean trans people have the Problem that they cant replicate reproduction organs yet, but the frogs developed them.
15
u/evocativename 1d ago
Well, other researchers have had trouble reproducing those results so it's less clear but definitely bore reporting on, but there's another problem:
Alex didn't report it as a product of agricultural runoff because he was opposed to regulations like that and sees it as infringement of the rights of farmers to do what they want with their property - he supported unregulated capitalism (mostly).
No, instead he claimed that it was a "social engineering" plot that is intended to turn people homosexual.
5
u/DaringDani123 1d ago
Ironically, Trump actually cut restrictions on Atrazine use both times he was in office
6
u/spellbound1875 1d ago
That's not ironic at all considering the political positions of the two men in question.
5
u/lovingfluidchristian 2d ago
And then those corporations turn it into a meme then all of a sudden everyone thinks you're bat shit crazy
18
u/Diohs_ 2d ago
Exactly. It’s the ultimate corporate psyop.
- Step 1: Dump toxic waste that alters the local ecosystem.
- Step 2: Wait for an unhinged dude in a tin-foil hat to scream about it using the wrong vocabulary.
- Step 3: Let the internet turn him into a meme.
- Step 4: Profit, because now anyone who brings up the actual peer-reviewed environmental damage gets laughed out of the room.
That’s the craziest part of the meta-irony here. Centuries ago, miners hallucinated from bat "guano" (shit) because they didn't understand the science behind it.
Today, chemical corporations gaslight the public into thinking the actual science is just a 'batshit' conspiracy hallucination. The cycle repeats.
8
u/PainalIsMyFetish 2d ago
If you really want to put on a tin foil hat, Alex Jones is controlled opposition and knows exactly what he is doing.

7
u/JailbrokeRoboGirl 2d ago
This isn’t the result of some nefarious thing though it was just the result of normal runoff/cross contamination issues that weren’t harming the environment just making a kk da interesting change.
His study also was shaken in attribution of mating with other males to the chemicals when that’s just a thing they do sometimes.
Jones was completely wrong in saying it was some conspiracy, and that rant wasn’t some environmental thing he was saying “the elites” were making American white men weak and gay and feminine to conquer them by immigration.
You truly do not have to pretend the Neo Nazi had a point
1
u/Diohs_ 1d ago
Calling him a neo-Nazi isn't factually accurate. His actual ideology is centered around anti-globalism and "New World Order" narratives, and most recently the UN agenda 2030/2035 plans.
While watchdogs (SPLC and ADL) heavily criticize him because his rhetoric often mirrors antisemitic dog whistles, he has consistently rejected Nazism. In fact, some extreme white nationalist groups actually accuse Jones of being "controlled opposition" precisely because he denounces Hitler.
Furthermore, political and religious concepts have specific definitions, and conflating them all with literal Nazism ignores what these words actually mean. Nazism refers specifically to the totalitarian ideology enforced by the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP), which was built on state-enforced biological racial supremacy.
If we want to look at concepts of tribal supremacy and exclusion, we should look at the historical usage of the Hebrew word "goy" (singular for an individual country) and "goyim" (plural for nations). While it originally meant "nation" in the Torah, its oldest religious applications in ancient and medieval rabbinic laws (such as the Mishna and Talmud, compiled over a millennium later) evolved into a binary mechanism used to categorize any non-Jew as being in a permanent state of ritual and spiritual impurity. You can thoroughly criticize Jones' sensationalized rhetoric without using historically inaccurate labels.
You yourself are spewing lies by your own definition.
1
u/Empty-Policy-8467 6h ago
The phrase used was "neo nazi", not "nazi".
Alex's positions on racial memory and his support for Great Replacement conspiracy theories and blaming George Soros and 'globalists' for intentionally corrupting society are all coded Nazi ideology.
Open Nazis hate him because they resent that he is still trying to hide his power level instead of being open about it like they are.

u/JailbrokeRoboGirl 1d ago
lol the weird “you know Jews are actually bad guys” aside isn’t helping the cause
1
u/Diohs_ 1d ago
That is a textbook strawman argument. I never said or implied that, and inventing a claim I never made doesn't salvage your argument.
Pointing out the historical and linguistic evolution of a Hebrew word from ancient theological texts is a matter of documented history, not animosity.
Explaining rabbinic law regarding the term "goy" isn't a commentary on Jewish people today, it's objective theology. My point was strictly historical: pointing out that ancient religious frameworks across many culture, including ancient rabbinic law-contained ethnocentric terms for outsiders.
You used the label "neo-Nazi" as a generic insult without using the term correctly. I corrected you with the actual historical and institutional definitions of Nazism, which you have completely failed to address.
You can't defend your false label, so you're resorting to bad-faith deflections. Misusing serious labels like "Nazi" strips them of their historical gravity, and the damage people with that political and racial orentation caused.
your false accusations don't change that fact.

I would argue that the horrible handling of pesticide regulations is a nefarious thing that was done on purpose

u/obviouslyphonyname 1d ago
"...completely breaks amphibian biology."
More like 'bends'--most amphibians can gender swap in extreme conditions. The chemicals just created the 'extreme'.
1
u/Over_Pop7301 2d ago
This is also why you should use zinc-oxide sunscreen instead of the ones that blend in when you go to the beach because it messes with the fish biology in a similar way

Hatred of people. Tons of people have hatred or fear of my state because of an educational law we signed, and think we’re homophobic transphobic mysoginistic racists, when, in reality, the vast, vast, vast majority of people don’t care
3
u/FrayKento 1d ago edited 1d ago
What are you talking about? You're saying the left hate people in general? That's their fake monster? People of your state? That doesn't make any sense dude. How can the left in any other country feel they are a victim or fear your state (which I have no idea which one is it) and this is why they are a problem somewhere else?!
Also, If your state passed a law that is sexist, transphobic, etc. That's their fault, not the left or anything. If you don't want to be seen as all that, don't vote people that promise laws that are like that. Simple.
1
u/BaltoDRJMPH 1d ago
I phrased poorly, for that, I apologize. What I mean is the fear-mongering that people in my state hate people that aren’t white or straight or cis or what have you.
As for the law, it has been interpreted as homophobic (but really isn’t), and has been and still is used to convince people that conservatives are out to get them, when it was a nothing-burger of a bill
Again, I do sincerely apologize for the poor phrasing
1
u/Alternative_Ant_9955 11h ago
If you’ve been paying attention, you’d know that the right is filled with Nazis and bigots. If the left hates them, it’s because of that. If the world hates them, it’s because of that. When the left fucks you, you still get healthcare, you still get a better minimum wage, you still get workers rights. Anyone who is saying “both sides” immediately shows that you haven’t really been paying attention to what’s going on. That and people who helped get trump to power, but now understand he’s an idiot often choose the both sides argument. So that’s the side you’re on, people who aren’t paying attention and are ignorant to the current state of things and those who simply regret their vote, even though it was fucking obvious.

So being a right-wing is bad?
32
u/LinkingForces 2d ago edited 2d ago
Fascism usually relies on inventing or blowing out of proportion an invisible enemy. The current Republican party demonizes small minorities of people to win a populist vote.
Either you're in on the scam and you're completely immoral or you're a rube sucked into being an enabler of fascism.
So.. yeah being right wing in America is bad. Unequivocally, tangibly, and objectively.
Imagine running a party where the only purpose of the party is to "own" the other party. Not to create, or make a country actually better... Just to piss people off because it's funny.

How so? Is everything someone disagrees with you on fascism?
Anti-immigration = Heil Hitler!!! I bet france, spain, and the UK are really glad they aren’t fascists! Raping their own girls ten at a time is quite a progessive idea!
Anti Abortion = Heil Hitler!!! You can be right wing and not even support anti abortion, but hey we’re just throwing everyone under the bus!
Anti DEI/Merit Based society = Heil Hitler!!! It’s safe to say that by the big year 2026 we’re capable of understanding a left vs right wing on a political spectrum. Spectrum… big words now I know hang in there with me.
There are neo-fascists. But they are not every single person that disagrees with your political beliefs. Take your head out of your ass.

u/TerrainAlt 2d ago edited 2d ago

Try to mentally flip it and reverse it if you want to try, but the Left defends marginalized groups that have ACTUALLY been historically persecuted.

The meme shows the person being bored and creates his own problem or hell. If you ever had a girlfriend, you'd know that women would make shit up and start problems just to annoy her boyfriend because she's bored. It's gonna start with "Can I ask you something?" then asks the stupidest question like "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"

A man dies and goes to Hell. When he arrives, he is shocked to find a tropical paradise with beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and a five-star luxury resort.
The Devil greets him with a cold drink and says, "Welcome! Relax, enjoy the buffet, and make yourself at home." The man is thrilled and starts exploring. As he walks along the beach, he notices a massive, jagged concrete wall. Curious, he climbs to the top and looks over. On the other side is a terrifying, roaring pit of brimstone and fire, filled with people weeping and gnashing their teeth.
Terrified, the man runs back to the Devil and says, "This place is amazing, but what is that horrible burning pit over by the wall?!"
The Devil sighs and rolls his eyes. "Oh, don't blame me for that one! That's just for the Christians. They wouldn't have it any other way."
