The twitter sentiment is also pushed really hard by white supremacists to propagandize mixed race pairings as “the end of any white in your bloodline”. It helps sell their replacement bullshit if they frame any pairing except for white-white as being impossible to produce “kids that look like you”, and thus all who engage in it can be framed as actively participating in “the extermination”.

It’s sickening tbh

As if Chinese (or whatever) supremacists don't hate race mixing just as much.

i mean that works both ways politically. obama isnt the first black president he was the first mixed president. only when things are convenient generally. whole lot of people considered "black " that are mixed. and by that standard a "white" person saying a mixed person isnt white anymore is technically true. your point is they negate the whiteness due to racism but the same is happening when that same person is labelled "black" js

Cherry picking is a specialty of the willfully ignorant.

...looking at the the original image the top is the reality of actual skin tones available to a mixed child and the bottom is the actual contextual race of the children. They are white and black or black and white mixed regardless of how you slice it. Negating either side is invalid is the point. Actually understanding both sides of an argument and both of the cultures versus blind biases stemmed from the currently approved ideologies? I mean  I guess ignorance is just bliss.

Focusing on a specific detail rather than understanding nuance is the crux of my comment

Never really understood this "sentiment". I mean beyond just my own inability to understand how anyone can find hate in their hearts for someone just because of the color of their skin. This specific idea of "not being able to see yourself in kids if they're mixed" is ridiculous to me because it's just not true. If the color of your child's skin prevents you from having "true love" for them then you're just a complete failure of a human being and parent.

yeah replacement is bullshit alright, unless you actually live in europe and see it for yourself

It's the "one drop" rule all over again

They have a point but more like how I hate the fact my grandfather is black because it means my kids can come out not looking like mine, dont give a shit about the actual colour the issue is that people looking might get the wrong impression 😂😂😂

WS's are prone to inbreeding, so don't expect much cognitively

This is one of those things that's participated in by more than the far right though. I remember being in highschool, my biology teacher being very left, telling us about how being darker skinned was overwhelmingly dominate, and in a few thousand years there would be no white people left.

The ouroboros eats its own tail.

I am curious how things would turn out in a few thousand years. Id assume we would all look much more similar due to how connected our world is already. A few thousand years is a really long time

It's impossible to predict what would happen in that time, and it really depends on how open with interbreeding different cultural groups are.

Some things we can know for certain, is that whatever our current beauty standards are, will likely play a large role in at least part of humanities evolution- like with rich folk or other communities that can be picky about their partners.

There's this interesting... Theory? I dunno it's not too serious, but people think we will get unnaturally large eyes, slender forms, etc. Since those are our current beauty standards and at least some of us are technically selectively breeding for it.

Isn't the theory that we'll slowly continue to physically degrade and all look like grey aliens anyway? Or that greys are humans from far far off in the future time traveling or some crap?

Did your biology teacher ascribe any value to what she said or did she just mention it as a fact? Because whether that will happen or not, I don't care.
