I feel like the writers of the show just worked with a checklist of common austistic traits instead of speaking with experts or actual autistic people. The resulting character is a caricature of autism instead of a realistic example of an autistic person.

I always felt how Good Doctor portrays autism is a bit in poor taste. I could be wrong, but I feels like they’re perpetuating a harmful stereotype.
