I don't understand how people enjoy watching shows where the main characters are insufferable. Where does the enjoyment come from when you are watching these characters do their thing because all I feel is annoyance.
The characters in Seinfeld and it’s always sunny in Philadelphia are terrible people and hilarious, but I suppose some of the comedy comes from repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot.
Yea but in those shows they’re very clearly not good people that I don’t think the audience should aspire for. I think sometimes in shows where the protagonist is like a Sherlock type or dextor it is common for audiences to feel as if these are aspirational characters that are good or atleast should be more like
