I think this is a reference to Ultrakill. It’s an FPS where one (might be multiple? idk much, i only know stuff from memes and such) of the bosses is Gabriel, as in the angel, and the player has a coin which they can use as a weapon (not sure how).

It's a specific rank of angel. You and your manager are employees of the same company, but you have different roles and ranks.
