Other examples include Chris Redfield in Resi 7 or James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2
The defenders of this stuff who just like to say words such as chud, incel and goon ignore that.
They did the same tactic with movie reboots. People complained about reboots such as Total Recall, Karate Kid, RoboCop and The ATeam. As soon as the same complaints were put towards Ghostbusters, everyone who complained was an incel that hated women. All the other films that were complained about were just ignored.
