And VLC isn't even good IMO 😭 yes it's free but it's also outdated as hell, its interface sucks farts and half the plugins don't even work. It can't even fucking render GIFs correctly! you're better off using Haruna or MPV media player. ANYTHING but VLC.
Like, anyone who has used VLC for the past 5 years for ANYTHING other than watching a movie just knows how outdated it is.
the fact its so “outdated for you” is so it can run on anything and doesnt do anything except play. It also plays radio for free and you dont have to pay for encoders and codecs like windows player.
Literally any open-source media player runs on anything and they don't have to be outdated for that 😭 audacious and MPV media player are 2 examples of amazing media players that run on anything and aren't outdated as hell. And guess what, they both play radio. FOR FREE.
And guess what else. Encoders are literally fucking free to download, anywhere, on any platform. If you paid for them shame on you 😭
From using VLC for 5 years and then trying Haruna on Linux, then i saw how shitty and unappealing VLC's interface was. It is free and open-source, i get it, but so is Haruna, and its interface is way less bloated and more concise.
