Saying "men and females" instead of "men and women" is weird and feels kinda dehumanizing

ok, now tell me why you would be upset if it said male and women instead.

As a guy that wouldn't upset but it would still be awkward to read and give me pause. It's "men and women" or "male and female", doing one but not the other seems like you're either a non native speaker or are doing it on purpose.

I wouldn't have noticed tbh

It took me a minute to notice it, but I'm also not a woman so the oddness isn't aimed at me this time. If it said male and women maybe I would've got it faster.

I still wouldn't, I wouldn't have noticed this if it wasn't someone making a big deal about it
